Touring Car Racing

Touring car racing is a general term for a number of distinct auto racing competitions in heavily-modified street cars. It is notably popular in Britain, Germany, Scandinavia, and Australia.

The World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) started in 2005, it is generally considered to be the most prestigious touring car championship in the world.
V8 Supercars is a touring car racing category. It is the most popular motorsport in Australia, has a considerable following in New Zealand.
The British Touring Car Championship was established in 1958 as the British Saloon Car Championship. Is a series held each year in the United Kingdom.
